Nagchampa is a flower thats also called cannonball flower or Shivkamal. The hooded cobra like figures on the earrings resemble the way the flower droops over, and the singular granule soldered at the base of each hood resembles a little 'Linga' that's on the base of each Nagchampa. This happened to be a coincidence, but once I saw it the title of these earrings was decided.
