The works point to the nature of our restless minds and is an invitation for us to slow down and find more presence. Our constant desire for stimulation along with the many distractions around us is depicted by the movement in the works, while the regular order of the smaller circles directs us to a place of stillness, calm and presence that I would like to encourage us to seek.

In this painting the green dots serve as the anchors for presence. The fact that the ribbons are painted with paint that changes colour depending on the angle one views the painting from, and the random shapes and sizes of the ribbons and wave like shapes point to the distractions within and outside our minds.
