The works point to the nature of our restless minds and is an invitation for us to slow down and find more presence. Our constant desire for stimulation along with the many distractions around us is depicted by the movement in the works, while the regular order of the smaller circles directs us to a place of stillness, calm and presence that I would like to encourage us to seek.
In this painting the inner dots serve as the anchors for presence. There are a few different things that point to the distractions within and outside our minds - the fact that the green paint changes colour depending on the angle one views the painting from, the organic shapes and sizes of the green ovals and wave like shapes and the random use of gold and silver for the cirlces.
